Guilt vs. Shame

Someone once asked me if I had shame.... that seemed like a silly question at the time; but the more I came to understand what shame is and were it comes from the more I began to let myself off the hook. My prayer is that through this episode, you make room to truly see yourself the way that Christ does. That you stop putting yourself down through shame, and that you use the gift of guilt to mend relationship and push yourself into the greatness that the Lord is calling you to.
